A Scuttling Rivalry

I’ve always have an appreciation for the Shantae series since I played the original on the Game Boy Color after picking it up on a Garage sale. The gameplay is great and only improved with each new entry of the series. But of course, the main reason I like the game are the fun characters. Shantae, Risky, Bolo, Sky, Rotty and Mimic all have a lot of personality and really help move stories that can be silly, serious and especially charming.

So I wanted to draw a picture with all six of them in a fan art piece, but of course focus on that rivalry between Shantae and Risky Boots. Because as long as the games do well, and they should, that rivalry will scuttle on until ad infinitum!
